The Reel.
Josh Rose - Demo Reel 08 from Josh Rose on Vimeo.
The Magnum shows my ability to do high-poly models. I modeled this gun using Maya and used a chrome shader from Highend3d.com.
The Boss shows my ability to model a character that will properly deform. I used Maya for this project as well. I designed the character, textured him, and did the bump map. My co-worker Greg Marlow did the animation for the boss.
The spider shows the flexibility I have in other areas of Maya and Photoshop even though I prefer to model. This is a real species of spider called the Mouse Spider, and has vibrant colors as such. I did everything on this spider. Modeling, texturing, rigging, weight painting, and animating. This particular animation is of the spider sneaking up on its prey, since it does not spin webs to catch its victims. Finally, the spider shows that I can do low-poly modeling as well.
The Figure drawings show that I see and can properly execute proportionate drawings.

Disclaimer.
This is a temporary solution as my website, I hope to get a full fledged website up as soon as I can, but we'll see when that is. I have to thank those of you who took the time to visit my site to view my demo reel. I had a great time at the Game Developers Conference in February and really enjoyed meeting everyone!
